VirtualSC will allow students who failed a course in 2019-2020 to continue to register for summer credit recovery courses until Sunday, June 14th at 8:00 PM. Students requesting courses by this new deadline must have counselor approval in the Dashboard no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, June 15th. Credit Recovery courses are offered in English, Math, Science and Social Studies. Please register at https://virtualsc.org/.

In January of 2020, YPA hosted its first Patriot 5K Scholarship Run/Walk. Through the generous support of our participants and sponsors, we were able to award a scholarship to a graduating senior. Seniors had the opportunity to apply, sharing how they plan to use the skills they have learned at YPA in their continuing education and future career. After review by a committee of alumni, we are pleased to award the 2020 Patriot Alumni Scholarship of $2,000 to Daniel Gleaves. Daniel plans to attend the University of South Carolina Honors College in the fall, pursuing a major in Computer Science.
