York Prep high school students, Rebekah Archer and Jessica Jolley are representing YPA at Palmetto Girls State at Presbyterian College. Palmetto Girls State is a one-week leadership and citizenship training program that educates outstanding high school students about state and local government and citizenship. Participants also have tremendous opportunity for college scholarship. Great job Patriots!

Spring Break Is Almost Here!!! Reminder- tomorrow is a half day with K-4th dismissing at 11:30 am and 5th-12th dismissing at 12:00 pm. There is no lunch served on half days and there is no Patriot's Promise After School Care. All students should be picked up within 30 minutes following dismissal. The Girls Varsity Soccer game scheduled for today has been canceled.
York Prep 11th grade student, Jubal Grant is enrolled in the Utility Line Worker program at York Technical College. Last week, students participated in a competition against other colleges competing in three events and scored on the accuracy of performance and time to complete the tasks.
We are proud to report that Jubal placed:

Per the University, "Jubal not only excelled in the events, but he also demonstrated leadership among our group of students and outstanding sportsmanship with each of the competitors."
