We all know about the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, but have you heard about the YPA Elementary Thanksgiving Parade? Our 4th graders created original cardboard designs and paraded them down the halls, bringing excitement and smiles to our students. And of course, no Thanksgiving parade would be complete without a special visit from Santa! Check out pictures and a video at https://www.facebook.com/share/p/15fwyYRV9r/

In STEAM Exploration, students had a fantastic time learning design skills using a CAD program. They got creative and crafted their very own keychain designs, which they then brought to life using York Prep's new Bambu Lab 3D Printers. The students were amazed to see their ideas turn into real, tangible creations!

Today, York Prep Middle School honored veterans and local heroes, expressing our gratitude for their sacrifice and service. As we approach Veterans Day, take a moment to listen to the words of 5th grader Lucas Isbell and remember to thank those who serve our country. "Voices that speak, courageous and strong Endless hopes and sacrifices, where heroes belong. Tales of strength, I write in each line, Energized by hope, with challenges they climb. Rallied up, every day and night, just for fight. All stand high with pride as their virtue Never will forget, the Patriots of all time."
