Due to potential high winds and road flooding, York Preparatory Academy will have a virtual learning day on Friday, 9/30/22. All after-school activities including athletics, Marching Band, and Patriot's Promise are canceled. Stay safe and have a good weekend!
On Saturday, York Prep's Band of Revolution competed in the Laurens Invitational Marching Band Competition. They won 1st Place Overall in class 1A, Best Color Guard, and Best Percussion!!! We couldn't be prouder of our Patriots! Congratulations!!!!

Coach McDonald has competed in pole vault on the collegiate, international, and Olympic levels. A graduate of Winthrop University, Coach McDonald joined York Prep as a Certified Athletic Trainer and teaches Sports Medicine at YPA High School. Part of the Athletic Administration, Coach McDonald is equipping students to succeed in the collegiate level and beyond.

Athletic Change: High School Boys conditioning with be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week from 10-11:30 am due to a conflict. High School Girls conditioning days will not change and will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday still from 8:30-10 am. Athletes should meet in the SU Weight Room and enter the building through the weight room side door and not the door upstairs. Athletes must have a sports physical dated after April 1, 2022 loaded to PlanetHS prior to participating

Palmetto Girls State is a one-week leadership and citizenship training program that educates outstanding high school students about state and local government and citizenship. Participants also have tremendous opportunity for college scholarship. Great job Patriots!

York Prep Middle School's MATHCOUNTS team had an onsite field trip yesterday with the Clemson Youth Learning Institute. Students piloted Robomasters in games and challenges learning more about robot technology. Interested 6th-8th grade students will have the opportunity to join our Middle School MATHCOUNTS team this fall.
Yesterday the Schiele Museum came on campus to teach our Kindergarten students all about weather. As you can see... they had a blast!
