The countdown to final exams has begun, and I know that everyone has been working hard to perform their best! To help make certain that everything runs smoothly, we have put together some important details about our High School Final Exam Schedule. Please read the information below thoroughly as it pertains to our end of semester EOCs and Final Exams. Please remember, EOCs and Final Exams count for 20% of the course final grade so let's be certain that we are prepared and well rested for these tests!
Exam Schedule:
During the 17th and 18th we will be following the bell schedule below, so please keep this in mind for your Dual Enrollment classes and for late arrival/early dismissal.
December 10th: English 2 Writing EOCs during Blocks 1-2
December 17th: EOCs and Final Exams Blocks 1-2
Block 1 Exam: 8:15 - 10:30 am
Block 2 Exam: 10:37 am- 12:52 pm
Lunch: 12:52 - 1:27 pm
Block 3: 1:32 - 2:17 pm
Block 4: 2:22 - 3:07 pm
December 18th: EOCs and Final Exams Blocks 3-4
Block 3 Exam: 8:15 - 10:30 am
Block 4 Exam: 10:37 am - 12:52 pm

December 19th and 20th: EOCs and Final Exams Make Up Exams
VirtualSC Fall Finals are scheduled for December 9 - 12. You must take your final at the High School - you can take them any day at the beginning of any block during the testing window. Room locations are below:
1st Block: Room 124
2nd Block: Room 123
3rd Block: Room 219
4th Block: Room 130
School Testing Electronics Policy:
Students testing should have all personal devices in his/her personal bag, unless on their person. If on their person, then they will need to give the device to their teacher prior to testing when the teacher asks for all devices to be placed in a container/bag provided by the staff member. These devices that are given to the teacher will need to be out of reach and/or locked in a cabinet.
Consequences of Student Violation:
Students in testing rooms that have personal devices seen or turned on will be confiscated and returned at the end of the day or until the testing violation investigation has been concluded. Students in violation will receive 2 days Out-of-School suspension for the violation and a possible test invalidation, dependent upon investigation results.
Final Exam Exemption Policy:
Junior and senior students are eligible for exemption from final exams in any course, where an End-of-Course exam is not required by the state, based on the criteria below:
Course average of ninety (90%)
No more than five (5) unexcused absences and three (3) unexcused tardies
No discipline referral in the class of exemption
At the teacher’s discretion, students may be required to take a final exam if the exam is performance or project-based or necessary for the content.
*Students are not eligible to exempt AP exams.
