Pumpkin Book Character Contest: Do you have a favorite book character? Are you feeling creative? Take part in our Pumpkin Book Character Contest on Literacy Night! Bring a pumpkin decorated as your favorite book character. All attendees will have a chance to pick their favorite pumpkin. The winner will be announced the following morning during announcements. No registration required- just bring it with you to Literacy Night to the ES gym to participate!

York Prep is excited to welcome Maya Myers to Literacy Night on October 10th! Ms. Myers writes books for kids and edits books for kids and adults. She is a former kindergarten teacher who loves cooking, gardening, board games, and (surprise!) reading. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband, author-illustrator Matt Myers, three kids, six chickens, and a twenty-three-pound cat.
