Patriot Days is a school-wide celebration ending with our Patriot Fun Run and Color Run. York Prep’s main fundraiser of the year, family and friends support our school by collecting run pledges and then attend to cheer on their student. Our Fun Run (K-4th) and Color Run (5th-12th) will be Thursday, March 23rd.
Last year, York Prep raised over $150,000.00 in pledges! This year, funds raised will support learning opportunities and student activities, provide campus-wide safety upgrades that will impact all classrooms and buildings, and create a 2nd elementary school playground on the west side of the soccer field!
How Can Your Family Participate?
1) Collect Pledges
- Register your student at MYBOOSTER.COM and contact debi.smith@yorkprepsc.org with questions.
- Parents can help connect students to sponsors by sharing their pledge link on Facebook, through email, or even a text.
- Sponsors can enter and pay for those pledges online through your student’s pledge link.
- Students receive fun prizes for pledges collected. Fun Run Prizes/Color Run Prizes
2) Corporate Matching
Did you know that corporate matching gifts and business donations count as pledges for the Fun Run? This is a GREAT way to help us reach our goal! Help Our School in 3 Easy Steps:
- Reach out to friends and family with businesses.
- Enter the pledge on MYBOOSTER.COM. Businesses can even put in a link to their website to be displayed on the Business Leader Board!
- Thank them for their support!
3) Dress Up Days
Get in the spirit by participating in our dress up days at the Elementary, Middle and High School.
- Tuesday, March 14: Wacky Tacky Day
- Wednesday, March 15: Jersey Day- Wear your favorite jersey.
- Thursday, March 16: Crazy Sock Day
- Friday, March 17: Hat Day
- Monday, March 20: Career- Dress for your future!
- Tuesday, March 21: College Day
- Wednesday, March 22: Neon/Tie-Dye Day
- Thursday, March 23: Patriot Day Wear - Wear YPA gear or school colors.
4) Cheer On Our Students At The Fun Run and Color Run
Families are welcome to come and cheer on their student at the Fun Run and Color Run!
Schedule on March 23rd:
- 8:30 am: 3rd & 4th Grade Fun Run
- 9:30 am: 1st & 2nd Grade Fun Run
- 10:30 am: Kindergarten Fun Run
- 12:45 pm: 5th & 6th Grade Color Run
- 1:30 pm: 7th & 8th Grade and High School Color Run
- High School students must have $25 in pledges to participate.
