RE: York Preparatory Academy Students Awarded with Academic Honors from College Board National Recognition Program
Rock Hill, SC – York Preparatory Academy students, Aiden Williams, Ainsley Ralph, Cohen Campbell, Jonah Dalton, and Savannah Johansen have earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them meaningfully connect to colleges and stand out during the admissions process. Each student selected has a GPA of 3.5 or higher, excelled on the PSAT or earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP Exams, and attends school in a rural area or small town. York Preparatory Academy expresses congratulations to these students for their achievement and dedication.
York Preparatory Academy is a free public charter school serving students in South Carolina founded in 2010. Part of the South Carolina Public Charter School District, York Prep serves over 1650 students annually in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. York Preparatory Academy was the recipient of the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2018 and was selected as a US News & World Report Best High School in 2021 and 2022.
