Coach Cristi Myrup

Coach Cristi was the Patriot Head Coach in 2021-22 and led their team to a Region Championship and State Qualifier. Coach Cristi has 7 total years of coaching experience in a sport that she has loved her whole life.  A lifelong runner, Cristi was a 4 year letter winner and state qualifier in Cross Country in high school.  She has competed in 4 marathons, coming away with an age group win in the scenic St. George Marathon.  Cristi also branched into triathlon training and competition as an adult athlete and co-founded Born To Tri, a non-profit company which was focused on helping youth build a lifelong love of fitness through the sport of triathlon.  

Tryout Information: Region winners and state qualifiers, York Prep's Cross Country team has been breaking records every year! Cross Country tryouts are Wednesday, July 31 from 7:30-9:00 am. Student-athletes in grades 7th-12th with an updated sports physical (dated after 4/1/24) uploaded to Planet HS are eligible to try out. Please contact Cristi.myrup@yorkprepsc.org with questions.
